Make sure you feel comfortable with your chosen real estate agent because you will be seeing an awful lot of each other during the process, and sometimes situations can be stressful. The perfect real estate agent will make you feel comfortable, and will make you trust that they are conducting business on your behalf with the utmost character and with your best interest at heart, and not their own. Steer clear of any realtor that makes you feel as if they are more worried about how much money they will make over taking care of your needs.
